10:00 – 11:15 Pam Lough, of CDC Foundation/California Dept. of Public Health’s Center for Health Statistics & Informatics, on an “Unconventional Career Path.” Pam will share her unconventional background on how she got to where she is today along with her experiences working with the California Department of Public Health to improve data equity. Q & A to follow.
11:15 – 12:15 Crafting: Let’s get Mod Podgey – Please bring a very small box (the size of a yogurt cup) to safely carry your craft home

1:15 – 2:15 Elizabeth Torres, of HPU Library, on the use of escape rooms to engage students with library resources and information literacy, done in a creative, hands-on way. Elizabeth will discuss design strategies and conclude with an actual escape room activity for us to experience firsthand. Q & A to follow.
2:15 – 2:30/3:00 Crafting: Topping off your pieces to take home with you
